‘Sounds of the Modern Hospital - Sonograph Sound Effects Series vol. 1’ is a long-playing sound effects record in a limited edition of 250 copies.

    Sleeve notes:

The sound recordings you will hear on this LP record were made in a real working hospital - not under controlled conditions. Therefore, on occasion, you may hear some background noise, conversations and other unintentional sounds. Every effort has been made to record the subject in as great a degree of isolation as possible in any given situation.

All recordings were made by Mark Vernon between 2011-2013. Thanks to staff and patients at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, Stirling Community Hospital and Falkirk Community Hospital. Design by Marc Baines. Label artwork by Keppie Design.
